FAQ

  • 1. Do I need prior training? I’m a complete novice.

Prior training in Tai Chi, Kung Fu, or anything else is not a pre-requisite. The advantage it will offer are that your memory retains faster the movements, that you have more strength or flexibility. Each movement can be adjusted in speed, depth, or strength. These routines have worked well with ages from 9 to 99 years old.

  • 2. What if I don’t understand the moves that are shown in the video?

After your purchase, free individual support is available true online contact (skype, whatsapp, facetime...)

  • 3. Can I fight with an umbrella or a cane once I have mastered the routines?

You’ll know a myriad of martial movements. However, like any descent martial art, we advocate peace and suggest you only use it as a training tool

  • 4. Can I download the tutorials?

No. However, if you send an e-mail we can discuss your motivation and I can send you the files.

  • 5. I'm an advanced martial artist. Are these programs for me?

Yes. The moves are shown at intermediate to advanced level. Novices should modify. Experts can use their expertise to modify to their needs, with their own prior knowledge.

  • 6. I'm dissatisfied with the program. Can I have my money back?

Yes, within the first 2 weeks after purchase. Send me an email. After you fill in a questionnaire, I will deposit your money back.

Steve had his training at the Maling Shaolin Kung Fu Academy, located in the mountains of Xinyi, Jiangsu in China. Trained in Chen style Tai Chi, he learned diverse methods of training. He strongly believes in Bruce Lee's philosophy :“Adapt what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is specifically your own". This results in this tutorial website. He shows you one possible way. But this way is subject to evolution, but also to adaptions to ones own needs (whether beginner or advanced). Trough online support (skype/whatsapp/facetime) he does provide (free) additional support, insight and training tips according to ones individual needs. However, the basic routine(s) need to be memorised first by the student before this support can happen. The 2 routines that have been chosen to teach, are the ones that are legal anywhere around the world. A walking cane or an umbrella are also no intimidating attributes when walking around with them. However, other weapon classes such as the Single Sword, Double Swords, Rope Dart, Staff, Dragon Fan, Nunchucks, Mook Yong, as well as the hand form of the Tai Chi Chen 24 Style are available at request.
